Value to Michigan’s 15th Congressional District and the American taxpayer:
Mortgage fraud is rampant across the country, including in Wayne County. Fraud is a significant contributor to the national fore-closure crisis. This is a highly specialized prosecution area and Wayne County is already a national leader in the field. The Wayne County Mortgage Fraud Team will consist of prosecutors, investigators, and support staff entirely dedicated to fight this type of crime.
