Value to Michigan’s 15th Congressional District and the American taxpayer:
Student activities include: (1) leadership workshops and weekly classes; (2) visits to cultural institutions and performances; (3) giving speeches and conducting workshops on leadership principles to other students and business and community leaders; (4) participation in ART of Leadership business and board meetings; and (5) design and implementation of community service projects. Currently programs are located in Detroit, Lansing, Kalamazoo, Ann Arbor, Taylor and Monroe, among others.
