Value to Michigan’s 15th Congressional District and the American taxpayer:
FY2010 funding will address the crisis in autism treatment and increase the capacity of highly trained professionals to serve families with autism by implementing an innovative model of comprehensive interventions.   EMU will implement a unique program of intensive, family-centered intervention to deliver multidimensional services in the context of daily life in the home and community for children of all ages:  occupational therapy, speech therapy, special education, psychology, and social work.
