The Michigan Community College Green Construction Corsortium: consists of six community colleges in MI, with state and national partners. To create "Green Construction" pathways that span entry-level certifications, college credit-level credentials, and newly established licensure requirements in Michigan. Students at Henry Ford, Macomb and Mott Community College will study for occupations in deconstruction, weatherization, and retrofitting. Grand Rapids and Washtenaw Community College will collaborate to develop curricula in contextualized and articulated developmental education, and green one-year certificates in construction and HVACR.
