Value to Michigan’s 15th Congressional District and the American taxpayer:
Opportunities for pre-college students to explore careers in STEM fields, and there every day applications. Collaborative effort of Michigan's University Research Corridor, the Michigan Departments of Education, Information Technology, and Energy, Labor and Economic Growth. Funding will be used to establish and staff the effort, create pre-college summer programs on campuses, pay instructors to teach college credit courses, develop after school programs, and for awareness and recruitment.
