Value to Michigan’s 15th Congressional District and the American taxpayer:
Goal: provide best practices for small businesses to implement a LEEDS guide for going “green”. Help them to be more environmentally friendly/esthetically pleasing to the community. DCC will partner with a LEEDS certified company to develop the best practices guide, which once tested/implemented with the pilot sites, may be disseminated for replication. Tasks include; Review data and meet with local experts; develop best practices consensus; develop guide and implementation process; pilots.
