Value to Michigan’s 15th Congressional District and the American taxpayer:
A compact low cost sighting system for grenade launchers enables special operations forces to quickly acquire a target in day or night conditions and achieve first shot hits with an M-203, EGLM or a stand alone grenade launcher with little training. The committee recommends an increase of $3.0 million in Procurement, Defense-wide, Weapons Small Arms and Weapons for the procurement of ECOS-GL grenade launcher sighting systems.
