Value to Michigan’s 15th Congressional District and the American taxpayer:
America's future may hinge on the choices we make now regarding re-engineering our U.S. industrial 'Hard Metal" manufacturing job base. If we do nothing we risk high insatiability in our manufacturing base and weapon system readiness. This will result in dire consequences and most importantly putting the lives of our troops at risk. A new life to the old Tool and Die Industry could be reborn with a program of this nature. This would sustain and Grow JOBs in the district as soon as these technologies are proven and adapted.
