| This request will complete the R&D for a new armor product to be utilized on military ground vehicles. The system is more economical and cost effective, therefore this product will allow for the military to maintain protection levels yet supply larger quantity of vehicles without an exponential increase in cost. The lighter weight system will allow for vehicles to have better life cycles as well, therefore reducing replacement costs. |
