Value to Michigan’s 15th Congressional District and the American taxpayer:
Requested funds will support capital improvements to bring the Riverside Arts Center up to requested building-code standards and make it possible for classes to take place on the second floor of both wings of the complex, The second floor is currently underused and not equipped for classes or rehearsals. The third floor is structurally unsafe. Funds will also be used to renovate the first floor. 75% of the funds will be spend on job-creating construction contracts.
