Washington, DC – U.S. Representative John D. Dingell (MI-15), released the following statement today on the passing of Reverend Dr. S.L. Roberson:
"On Saturday, Michigan lost a pillar, a spiritual leader and a source of wisdom, compassion and strength with the passing of Reverend Dr. S.L. Roberson. S.L. was my dear friend and a great voice for the people of Ypsilanti. He will be missed as both a Man of God and someone who understood the everyday challenges of the people he served. Debbie and I send our thoughts to his wife Hollie, his brother Garther and his entire family. We have lost a great friend and a great man and we will miss him, but he has blessed us and provided all of us with an example of a wonderful life of service and a true dedication to the people of our community.”
