Dearborn, Mich. – Today, U.S. Representative John D. Dingell (D-MI15) announced that he will be hosting a free tax preparation clinic with the Accounting Aid Society on Monday, March 28, 2011 in Inkster, Michigan.
The free tax preparation clinic is open to all individuals whose income is under $25,000 per year, or $50,000 per year if filing jointly. The clinic will feature accountants from the Accounting Aid Society to help individuals prepare and file their federal tax return. The event kickoff starts at 10:30 a.m. and is open to the public. The event kickoff will feature comments from Congressman Dingell and the Accounting Aid Society.
Appointments for the free tax preparation clinic are available from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and registration is required. To register and schedule an appointment, contact Jeremy Keeney at Dingell’s Dearborn office at (313) 278-2936. Registered attendees will be notified of required documentation to bring to the clinic.
